Who We Are?
RGV911 is the primary addressing authority for Hidalgo and Willacy Counties. We specialize in providing critical 9-1-1 physical addressing for all areas outside city limits, ensuring that every resident has a precise location for first responders.

Our Departments
Our agency comprises three key departments, each with specialized roles:
GIS Department
Our GIS team provides critical 9-1-1 addressing services, specifically for areas outside city limits in Hidalgo and Willacy Counties. This ensures every resident has a precise location for emergency responders.
Information Technology
Our IT Department is in charge of maintaining and performing installations in all 16 PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points), ensuring that systems remain secure, reliable, and fully operational 24/7.
Public Education
Our Public Education team provides community outreach through school presentations and events, teaching residents and students the life-saving importance of calling and texting 9-1-1.
